Man shot while walking down South Richmond street

RICHMOND, Va. — A man has been hospitalized after being shot while walking down the street in South Richmond Wednesday night.

Police said the victim was shot in 1800 block of Stockton St. around 8:30 p.m.

The victim says he was walking from his car when shots rang out. The man was driven to Chippenham Medical Center, where he has non-life threatening injuries.

Police have not released any information on a suspect at this time.
