KANSAS CITY — A pedestrian was injured Monday after a driver assaulted them with a cooked chicken and hit them with her vehicle, police said.

Officers were called about 8 p.m. to the 3900 block of Jackson Avenue on an injury accident, according to KCTV. When they arrived on scene, a witness said that a verbal altercation started in the street with the pedestrian and a female driver.
