RICHMOND, Va. -- Richmond leaders hosted a workshop for peaceful conflict resolution Saturday.
Dr. Robert Winfree, a man who knows something about violence and transformation, gave the keynote address at the violence prevention conflict resolution workshop.
Winfree once served time behind bars, but is now the pastor of New Deliverance Tabernacle.
Event organizers stressed that violence is not the only choice when resolving conflict.
The event, which included breakout sessions and lunch, was sponsored by several local businesses, non-profits and the City of Richmond's Department of Economic and Community Development.
