RICHMOND, Va -- Before 30,000 people hit the streets for the Monument Avenue 10K on Saturday, they will make a stop at the Arthur Ashe Center.

Packet pickup for the race begins Thursday, April 7 and continues on Friday, April 8.

Runners will pick up race materials, including numbered bibs they'll wear for the race. Vendors will also be on site selling fitness gear. Walk-up registration will also be available.

"We have a few spots left so this is the place to be leading up to the race," said Pete Woody, communications director for SportsBackers, the nonprofit behind the race.

Runners participating in packet pickup will need to bring a photo ID. Runners can pick up packets for other participants as well, but will need copies of those participants' photo IDs as well.

Packet pickup takes place from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Thursday, and 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Friday.

The Monument Avenue 10K is Saturday, April 9.
