KING WILLIAM COUNTY, Va. — Law enforcement officials are looking for a man who sexually assaulted a woman inside her home in King William County earlier this month.

King William Sheriff’s Office officials released a sketch of the suspect’s face Wednesday.

It happened at a home in Aylett on Parkwood Drive on March 10 at 11:30 a.m.

The victim told deputies a man made his way into her home claiming to be there to conduct a home assessment. Once he was inside, he sexually assaulted the victim.

Deputies released a sketch of the suspect, who is described as a 40-year-old white male. He is between 5 feet 8 to 5 feet 10 inches tall with sandy-brown hair. He also has a unique mark — a scar that runs through his right eyebrow.

The suspect was last seen leaving in a beige-colored vehicle.

Investigators are asking homeowners in the area who have video surveillance systems to contact them.

If you have information that could help investigators, call the King William Sheriff’s Office Investigator G.S.Hamilton at 804-769-4164 or the Mattaponi Crime Solvers at 804-769-3000.
