CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va -- Firefighters say a small house fire managed to burn itself out before they could even get water hoses ready.
Crews were called to a home in the 600 block of Daleshire Drive, off Hopkins Road, at around 1:24 Wednesday morning. By the time they arrived, though, the small fire was burning itself out.
Everyone inside made it out safely. No one was hurt or displaced. The fire caused a lot of smoke, though.
There's no word on what may have caused the fire.
