Police seek two suspects for credit card fraud

RICHMOND, Va. — Richmond Police are asking for the public’s help to identify two suspects who are wanted for using a stolen credit card last week in several stores across Richmond.

Police said on Tuesday, March 8 officers responded to the 4100 block of West Franklin Street regarding a stolen purse from a vehicle. The victim believes the event occurred the night of March 7. There was no sign of forced entry.

The two suspects, a male and female, were caught on video on March 8 in a GameStop on the 1500 block of West Broad Street making a purchase with one of the stolen credit cards.

They also used the card at a Family Dollar on the 1900 block of West Main Street, a convenience store on the 2000 block of West Cary Street, and a gas station in the city.

Detectives ask anyone with any information about the credit card theft to call Third Precinct Detective Heather Truong at 804-646-1067 or Crime Stoppers at 780-1000.
