PARKVILLE, Md. -- A poor little pup was all smiles in the arms of a Maryland firefighter after being rescued from its burning home last week.

The pup was rescued from it's home by the Baltimore County Fire Department, while responding to an apartment fire.

After crews contained the fire, firefighter and EMT Walter Sanders carried the dog out safety.

Crews treated the dog on the scene with water, but by the look on his face, he was doing just fine.

The cutie has now received national attention after showing off his pearly whites during the fire rescue.

The images were captured by Captain Geoffrey Donahue and posted on the Providence Volunteer Fire Department's Facebook page.
