Virginia Union makes school history in NCAA Tournament

The Virginia Union Lady Panthers made school history by hosting a NCAA Division II Tournament game, they made more history after they beat Indiana (PA)91-72 for their first tournament win at Barco Stevens.  Kiana Johnson led the way with 27 points and 10 assists.  Lady Walker had 24 and 14 boards while Taylor White chipped in with 17 points and 17 rebounds.

In the 3A Boys State Semifinals, John Marshall fell to I.C. Norcom.  Jeremy Carter Sheppard led the Justices with 23 points.

Also Hopewell beat Northside 71-67 in overtime to play the Greyhounds for the State Title.  Johnnie Harrison had 22 for the Blue Devils to include a three pointer that forced OT.
