RICHMOND, Va. — Get ready to see a lot of sunshine Monday. The anticipated big warm-up will commence, with afternoon highs in the mid 60s. Temperatures will soar into the 70s Tuesday through Thursday with ample sunshine. This will be the warmest stretch we’ve seen since at least early November!
It will be dry much of the week, with the threat of a shower or two Thursday night and Friday, as a cold front slides in from the north. This front will hang around into the weekend, as low pressure tracks to our west.
There will be more cloud cover, along with the threat for a few scattered showers here and there. This will tend to keep temperatures down a bit, but still well above “normal.”
