George Wythe High student Sakeena Marzuq found safe

RICHMOND, Va. — Sakeena Marzuq, the missing 14-year-old George Wythe High student was found safe by her parents Tuesday, according to Richmond Police spokesperson Gene Lepley. No other details have been given at this time.

Richmond police said Sakeena Marzuq was last seen at George Wythe High School on Friday March 4.

Sakeena is described as a black female, five feet one inches tall and weighing 170 pounds. She has brown hair and brown eyes.

She was last seen wearing blue jeans, a black hoodie, black and pink flip flops and carrying a black and orange book bag.

Police said they do not think Sakeena is in danger, but that her family wants her to come home.
