Richmond, Va. — With the brief winter storm departing quickly, we will see a gradual warm-up over the next few days. Highs will still be a little below normal over the weekend with highs in the lower 50s. A disturbance will swing through Saturday evening into Sunday morning with a few rain showers or snowflakes. After that, the warming trend will be more dramatic next week.
Highs will get into the 60s on Monday and the 70s Tuesday through Thursday. The warmest Richmond high thus far this year has been 72° from February 1. A front will pass through on Friday with some showers, and this will cool things off slightly at the end of the week.
Spring officially arrives two weeks from Sunday.
