RICHMOND, Va. — WTVR CBS 6’s Laura French was one of 12 reporters allowed into the courtroom in Charlottesville Wednesday when Jesse Matthew pleaded guilty to the murders of Morgan Harrington and Hannah Graham.

“After a long emotional day, I fell asleep while on my computer before I could do a full wrap up of Jesse Matthew’s conviction. What it was like in the courtroom, what Jesse’s family said to the Harringtons, how both sets of parents wept as they described the beautiful lives taken from them and what exactly happened those tragic nights. I’m going to be available to answer all of those questions and tell you about some new details. Stay tuned for an upcoming live Q and A and debrief,” Laura French – WTVR CBS 6 wrote on Facebook.

Laura French answered your questions about the Jesse Matthew verdict, the families’ reactions and the new details that have come out since his confession.

Part two of the Q&A is above. You’ll find part one of the Q&A session.
