RICHMOND, Va. -- Lows Saturday morning dropped into the teens and 20s, making it the coldest morning since February 15.

Highs will be around 50° Saturday afternoon, but highs will warm into the low to mid 60s on Sunday and in the upper 60s to around 70° Monday and Tuesday.

Temperatures will cool off after a storm passes Wednesday and an Alberta clipper swings by on Friday.  Highs next weekend will be in the 40s.

It looks like we will see a pretty significant pattern change towards the middle of the following week.  The polar jet stream may set up close to the Canadian border, keeping the coldest air north of the continental United States.

This pattern should be around at least for a few days.   Spring officially begins at 12:30 a.m. on March 20.
