NEW YORK -- A woman was arrested at John F. Kennedy Airport after allegedly trying to smuggle $10,000 worth of cocaine in her vagina, according to WPIX.
Officials said 24-year-old Shekira Thompson arrived at JFK from Kingston, Jamaica Sunday afternoon.
According to Port Authority Police, she was "sweating and acting very nervous" when she went through customs at 2 p.m.
Police said she was then taken to a private search room where she went through a body X-ray scan which came back negative.
Half a pound of cocaine was found in an "egg-shaped" container inside the woman's vagina. (US Customs and Border Protection)
