Leanne's Scrumptious Tiramisu
1 cup dark coffee (room temp)
3 Tbsp Kailua
1 tsp vanilla
20-30 lady fingers
1/2 cup sugar
8 oz marscapone cheese
8 oz chilled heavy whipping cream
1/2 cup dark chocolate (grated)
5 Tbsp cocoa powder
In 8x11 pan lay one layer of lady fingers down. Mix together coffee, Kailua and vanilla. Next brush coffee mixture on lady fingers until completely coated.
In a large mixing bowl beat marscapone cheese and sugar until sugar has completely dissolved. Slowly add in the whipping cream until fluffy.
Spread only half onto lady fingers in pan. Next, evenly coat with chocolate. Top with more lady fingers. Brush these with more of the coffee mixture. Spoon remainder of marscapone mixture on top and spread out evenly. Dust entire top with cocoa powder.
Cover and sit in fridge for 10-24 hrs.
