Groggy bear after hibernation is all of us in the morning

Posted

COLORADO SPRINGS, Co — If you don’t trust groundhogs trying to tell you winter is coming to an end, perhaps you’ll trust this bear.

Cheyenne Mountain Zoo posted video of Emmett the bear waking up from hibernation on Thursday.

Emmett can be seen moving around rather sluggishly (like most of us in the mornings), looking around his lair before sitting up.

Emmett licks his snout a few times, with an expression that seems to say, “I wonder what’s for breakfast.”
