CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. — Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders will not be making a stop at Virginia State University on Wednesday, Feb. 17, according to regional press secretary Warren Gill.
Last week a campaign spokesperson said the visit to VSU would not be confirmed until this week. The university did list the campaign visit on their website last week.
There is no word if an event will be rescheduled.
Sanders’ supporters recently opened his Richmond campaign headquarters at 217 W. Grace St.,right across from the Richmond Police headquarters.
