There was some Burgundy and Gold over at the University of Richmond Saturday afternoon. That's because Redskins President Bruce Allen was inducted into the Richmond Spiders Hall of Fame.
Before he went into the Front Office, Allen was a record setting punter for the Spiders from 1974 to 1977. He averaged over 40 yards per punt, third best in school history. He was named All-ECAC and All-South Independent after his Junior season.
