A Lovers Weekend to enjoy Cabaret Music. local cabaret artist Georgia Rogers Farmer appears in “Lies My Martini Told Me” as part of the 2015-16 U.S. Trust Life is a Cabaret Series. The performance is at Rhythm Hall, Richmond CentreStage Friday at 7:30 p.m. and Saturday at 7:30 p.m. Farmer will perform an eclectic mix of songs, ranging from standards to Broadway to popular music. If Smooth Jazz is more your style, check out Alex Bugnon in concert. Master of the Keys and a favorite in the River City, Keyboard sensation Alex Bugnon returns for two pre-Valentine’s Day Concerts. Bugnon performs  at 3pm and again at 8pm at The Renaissance, 107 West Broad Street. Doors will open at 2pm for the 3pm show and at 7pm for the 8pm show. The Love Tour at Maymont Mansion: Saturday & Sunday 12-5pm, When Queen Victoria married her handsome prince charming in 1840, they set the romantic tone for the 19th century.  Maymont Mansion will have costumed ladies and gentlemen relate details of this royal love story and the courting customs of the era on Valentine’s Day weekend. Future Events: Book Signings – Virginia’s African-American Authors is the product of Richmond Public Library, Black Male Emergent Readers Literacy Program. Children Museum of Richmond – Black History Month Events: Saturday, February 20, 11am & 1pm: Learn about African and African-American culture with Elegba Folklore Society!
