Highland Springs' Head Coach George Lancaster was honored tonight by having the court dedicated in his name.  Earlier this season, Lancaster won his 700th game, one of only four public school coaches to reach that mark.

The Richmond Spiders hope that a slight change on defense will continue to pay big dividends.

NASCAR announced that starting this season, they will have a new charter system.  What it basically means is that each team will be it's own individual franchise, just the NFL, NBA and Major League Baseball.  Also it will guarantee them a spot in each race's 40 car field, now reduced from 43.

The defending A-10 baseball champions, VCU, is gearing up for the start of the season.
