RICHMOND, Va. -- The mayor and a lot of other people tell you to stay indoors and be safe when winter storms hit.
But some of my fondest and strongest memories – some of them scary – have come by embracing the wonder of a snow storm.
So follow us in this video report as we celebrated Friday’s snowfall with a wide variety of strangers. I got knocked over by a sledder, played a little tackle football, got into a snowball fight with students from Sri Lanka who were enjoying their first snowfall and got invited to a snow party at one of Metro Richmond’s most exclusive addresses.
That’s the beauty of going out and playing in the snow.
