HENRICO COUNTY, Va. — Henrico has asked homeowners to pull trashcans away from the street so snow plows can clear neighborhood roads.
“The trashcans not only impede the plows’ ability to remove the snow, but may be knocked over in the process causing damage to the receptacles and other personal property,” Henrico spokeswoman Tamra McKinney said. “Henrico refuse collection has been delayed due to the winter storm. Residents who are now scheduled for pick up on Monday may return the cans to the curb early Monday morning. Residents who have trash collection scheduled for later in the week are asked to keep their cans off the street until their scheduled pick up day.”
