Hundreds lose power in Chesterfield, New Kent during snowstorm

RICHMOND, Va. -- More than 900 Dominion Virginia Power customers were without power at 6:30 a.m. Saturday following hours of snowfall and high wind in Central Virginia. A majority of Dominion's reported outages were in New Kent and Chesterfield counties.

More than 1,400 Dominion customers are without power in Hampton Roads, with the majority of outages reported in Hampton.

If you lose power Saturday, Dominion has asked you report your outage online or by calling 1-866-366-4357. If you see a downed power line assume it's energized and stay away from it. To report downed power line, call 1-866-366-4357.
