RICHMOND, Va. — Before a single snow flake fell, all the Central Virginia school systems canceled Friday classes.

Basketball games have been rescheduled and concerts postponed. Bread, milk, toilet paper, heck everything, has been taken from store shelves. Basically, everyone is hunkering down in anticipation of a significant snow storm that could drop five inches an hour,  in some areas.

It’s shaping up to be a big event, and that’s brought a smile to many faces.

Show us your #SnowDayFace, and we may share it on television! Upload your picture by hitting the orange “SUBMIT” button, or share it on social media with the hashtag “#CBS6SnowDayFace,” send it to pics@wtvr.com or send it using your handy CBS 6 app.

This first one comes from a happy third grader at  Springfield Park Elementary.
