The VCU Rams remained undefeated in the A-10 after an 93-71 win over Duquesne for their 9th straight win overall. Doug Brooks and Mo Alie-Cox led the way with 16 points. Former Benedictine standout L.G. Gill scored a game high 18 points in the loss.
Virginia Tech fell at Notre Dame 83-81 to have their two game ACC winning streak snapped. The Hokies were trying to win back to back conference road games for their first time in seven years. Zach LeDay led Tech with 22.
Virginia Union won their 4th in a row 75-67 over Bowie St. The CIAA's leading scorer, Ray Anderson, scored a game high 26 in the win.
Randolph Macon went over the .500 mark in the ODAC after they beat Eastern Mennonite 84-76. Lamont Moore led the Yellow Jackets with 24 points.
