NEW YORK – Infant clothes made by Disney are being recalled because snaps on the onesies can come loose and pose a choking hazard to young children, officials warned Tuesday.
About 10,000 onesies are affected by the recall. They include two styles of 100 percent cotton bodysuits with a three-snap button closure.
One of the affected styles is gray with black sleeves and trim with a baby Darth Vader on the front holding a light saber and wrapped with the text, “If you only knew the power of the dark side.” They were sold in sizes 3M, 6M, 12M, 18M and 24M.\
The other onesie marks Disneyland’s 60th anniversary and is light blue with royal blue sleeves and trim. On the front of these bodysuits is Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck and Pluto in front of the Disneyland Castle. They were sold in sizes 6M, 12M, 18M and 24M.
No injuries have been reported in connection with the recall, officials said.
The Guatemala-made onesies were sold from February 2015 to November 2015 at the following locations:
Walt Disney World® Resort in Lake Buena Vista, Florida, Disneyland® Resort in Anaheim, California, the Treasure Ketch Shop on the Disney Wonder® and Mickey’s Mainsail located on the Disney Magic®, Disney Dream® and Disney Fantasy® cruise ships
They cost about $20.
Anyone who owns the outfits are told to stop using them right away and to call Walt Disney Parks and Resorts at 844-722-1444 to learn how they can return the onesies for a full refund.
