After an extensive search, James Madison named Mike Houston as their new head football coach.  The school will officially introduce him at a 3pm press conference Tuesday afternoon.  Houston went 14-11 in two seasons at the Citadel, leading the Bulldogs to a share of the Southern Conference title in 2015 and their first 1-AA playoff appearance since 1992.  It took a special place for him to leave the Citadel and doesn't want his former school to have any anger about the decision.

The Virginia Cavaliers are dealing with some hard times after they have lost three of four.  Head Coach Tony Bennett is looking to see who steps up as they face Clemson Tuesday night.

In High School hoops, L.C. Bird beat Highland Springs 49-33.

Deep Run beat Hermitage 75-63 and in girls action, Highland Springs remain undefeated after a 64-40 win over L.C. Bird.
