Woman suffers non-life-threatening injuries after being shot in Richmond home

RICHMOND, Va. -- Police are investigating a shooting in South Richmond that left a woman with non-life-threatening injuries, according to police sources.

The shooting happened in the inside a home in the 3100 block of Stockton Street, just off Hull Street. The shooting was reported after 6:30 p.m.

Police sources said a woman is was hit after someone shot inside the Stockton St. home. Sources tell CBS 6 are injuries are non-life-threatening.

Richmond police are still investigating. No information on a suspect has been released at this time.
