Richmond Fishing Expo, Friday, 10am – 7pm, Saturday, 9am – 7pm Sunday, 10am – 5pm at Meadow Event Park – State Fairgrounds of Virginia, Doswell. The expo offers the largest variety of fishing products and services, seminars with experts in the business.Tickets are: adults $8, Seniors & Military $7, children 5 and under free. Saturday, 8pm Susan Greenbaum presents Carole King’s “Tapestry” at Ashland Coffee & Tea. Tapestry was released in 1971 and received four Grammy Awards 1972, including Album of the year. Edgar Allan Poe’s 207th Birthday Bash, from noon – 12am,  at the Poe Museum located at 1914-16 East Main Street. Positive Vibe Cafe 11th anniversary celebration with live music and food from 5-10pm  at 2825 Hathaway Road, Richmond. The Faces of H.O.P.E. of Virginia day of service 10am at 249 East German School Road, Richmond. The  community is invited to volunteer at the organization’s new location. Service projects include assembling a basketball court in the gymnasium, arranging the clientele’s workout space and equipment, and preparing the behavioral health and nutrition class rooms to enhance clientele’s learning environment. It is The Faces of H.O.P.E.’s goal to end childhood obesity in the Richmond area and surrounding communities, and to share best practices. Peace Center Youth: Take a Stand Against Gun Violence, 2pm at the Bell Tower, (9th & Bank Streets) on the grounds of the Capitol. A dozen teenagers from the Richmond Peace Education Center presents a street theater performance and a call to end to gun violence.
