A touching video of a man on a New York City subway giving a shivering stranger the shirt off his back has gone viral.
Lazaro Nolasco saw the good deed, recorded it and posted it on Facebook. He told New York Daily News the temperatures in Manhattan were near freezing that night.
“The guy did a good deed, so I wanted to record it,” Nolasco told New York Daily News. “I would tell him, ‘God bless him.’ That was thoughtful.”
Nolasco said the shirtless man was shivering and “his body looked sick.”
In the video you can see the Good Samaritan putting the T-shirt on the man and gave him a black hat to put on. The audio during the video is inaudible, but Nolasco recalled the Good Samaritan asking the man if he want to go to the hospital, which he replied “yes.”
He said he’s not sure what happened to the two men after he got off the train.
Nolasco’s video has been viewed more than 13 million times on Facebook.
