SAN DIEGO — Many of us have heard the saying, “Turn around, don’t drown.” The idea being you should not drive into flood waters, because you can’t know the depth of the flood waters and may end up getting stuck.

A driver in San Diego, California, did not seem to be aware of that — or simply ignored the advice.

Strong rains moved through San Diego and left flooding in the street. At one intersection, the driver of a Lamborghini Gallardo was not fazed. The person was seen driving the $200,000 car through the intersection.

Since the car is so low to the ground, the flood water could be seen going as high as the windshield at one point. The driver kept going, though, and eventually makes it through.

Video of the drive was uploaded to Facebook and was seen more than a million times.
