RICHMOND, Va. — Kroger is looking to hire 165 new employees during a hiring event in Richmond. The company is seeking to fill 700 jobs in its stores in the Mid-Atlantic region, with approximately 165 located in the Richmond area.
The job fair will be held on Friday, January 15 from 3 to 7 p.m. at the Kroger Training Center located at 2235 Staples Mill Road. No appointment is necessary.
The openings are for both full-time and part-time positions, including general positions such as cashier and in department specific roles, such as produce, meat/seafood, deli-bakery, etc. Interviews will also be held for management positions.
“Kroger is constantly growing and hiring new employees,” said Allison McGee, spokesperson for the Mid-Atlantic Division. “We offer competitive compensation and excellent benefits with the opportunity to advance in one of American’s largest companies.”
All stores in the Richmond area will be participating in the hiring; however some stores’ needs are greater than others, according to a Kroger spokesperson. There are 18 Kroger stores in the Richmond area.
Those interested can apply online or come to the Kroger Training Center on January 15.
