HENRICO COUNTY, Va. — A Henrico man is accused of bringing a teenage girl to a Chesterfield hotel to have sex with her.
In court documents obtained by WTVR CBS 6, investigators allege Stephen Callis would either wait for the girl at her school bus stop, or pick her up in her neighborhood, then drive to a hotel in Midlothian.
Investigators said this started in October of 2014 when the girl was 15, and that Callis would pay her in exchange for sex.
Police began an investigation after the girl’s father found sexually graphic text messages on her phone.
Callis is charged with sex trafficking of children, which is a federal crime.
