RICHMOND, Va - Virginia This Morning fan favorite Shayne Rogers returned to the kitchen with another ‘Shaynefully Delicious’ recipe. Try this hearty Sausage and Sauerkraut dish for dinner tonight!


1 ½ pounds new red potatoes

2c sauerkraut, drained and rinsed

1 small onion, sliced

½ c low sodium chicken broth

¼ c dry white wine

1 t caraway seeds

Salt and pepper

1 ½ pounds sausage links, bratwurst, kielbasa Italian

¼ c fresh chopped parsley


Brown bread, butter and mustard to round out the meal.

In a 4-6 qt crock pot mix the first seven ingredients.  Nestle in the sausage links, cover and cook on low for 7 hours or high for 4 hours.  Sprinkle with fresh parsley when finished cooking and serve with bread, butter and mustard. Enjoy on a chilly winter evening!
