“The snuggle is real” for Miranda Lambert and her new boyfriend, musician Anderson East. The new couple shared an image on Instagram of them getting cozy under a flannel blanket Saturday.
Many fans were overjoyed about the new couple, posting thousands of comments on the picture.
Instagram user Latania4 posted “Get your happiness girl. … God bless!” And joandgivens50 commented, “Miranda good luck, you deserve it.”
People magazine broke the news that Lambert, 32, and East, 27, were officially dating last week.
East, whose real name is Michael Cameron Anderson, is a rhythm-and-blues/pop musician from Alabama. He is currently on tour with his major-label debut album, “Delilah.”
Country sweetheart Lambert had a very public split from husband Blake Shelton in July of 2015.
After the news, fans took to social media grieving over the country stars’ breakup. Shelton has since started dating fellow “The Voice” judge Gwen Stefani.
