Man injured in drive-by shooting in Chesterfield

CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. — Police are investigating a drive-by shooting that occurred Saturday night in Chesterfield.

Police responded to a call on the 6500 block of West Road a little after 8:30 p.m. They say a man had just gotten home and was walking up to his front door when a vehicle pulled up in front of his house. That’s when someone inside the vehicle began firing multiple shots.

The victim received slight grazing wounds from the gunfire, but refused medical treatment.

This is an active investigation.
