Man suffers non-life-threatening injuries after being shot in Dinwiddie

DINWIDDIE COUNTY, Va. — A man is facing non-life-threatening injuries after being shot after a dispute at a Dinwiddie apartment complex.

Police said the incident happen Monday evening in the 6100 block of Duncan Rd. An altercation occurred when the victim came outside his girlfriend’s apartment complex to bring the trash out.

The 17-year-old victim was shot above the belt buckle, but his injuries are considered non-life-threatening.
