RICHMOND, Va. -- UPDATE: The Richmond Community Nativity Pageant has been canceled Wednesday evening due to the weather conditions. There is no make-up date for the event.
The Richmond Community Nativity Pageant is the oldest public Christmas tradition in Richmond. The pageant is a live presentation outdoors with a cast and choir of more than 400 participants that include family members some who have been in the pageant 30, 40 and even 50 plus years.
The interdenominational, inter-racial, Christmas event is a thirty minute production with a Carillon Bell concert at 6:30pm, followed by the Live Nativity Pageant at 7pm. The performance is free and open to the public. For more information visit http://www.richmondnativitypageant.com/index.html
