RICHMOND, Va. — December is the season of giving and in that spirit Kroger is giving back to FeedMore and their Kids Cafe program.

Wednesday, Kroger donated nearly 400 lunches to many Kids Café locations and presented FeedMore a check for $82,109.

FeedMore says the donation will provide more than 328,000 meals to families in need across Central Virginia through their programs.

Kids Cafe is one of the nation’s largest meal service programs that serves children ages five to 17. The nutritious meals are delivered to Boys & Girls Clubs, YMCAs, schools, and churches in Central Virginia. The program also provides safe places for children to meet role models and to participate in activities designed to enhance their educational, physical, and social development.
