Richmond, Va. -- This weekend has felt more like Spring or early Autumn with high temperatures around 25° above normal.  We missed the record highs on Friday and Saturday, but there's the potential to break a record high on Monday.

A cold front will approach from the west and not cross the metro until late evening.  Ahead of it, warm air will continue to surge into the region.  Extra cloud cover will limit the warming a little, but we should still reach the lower 70s.  The current record for Monday is 71°.

Behind this cold front, it will be just a little cooler for Tuesday and Wednesday.  Another storm system will bring some rain Thursday and will be followed by a chunk of colder air.  After hitting highs in the lower 50s on Friday, highs next weekend will be in the mid 40s.  Lows next Sunday morning will be in the mid 20s, about 20° than this Sunday morning was.
