Time to put on your tackiest sweater, Tacky Light Run is this weekend

CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. -- Christmas is only two weeks away, so that means the third-annual CarMax Tacky Light Run is right around the corner.

The event is this Saturday, Dec. 12.

The 6K or 3.72-mile race is a holiday-themed fun run in Chesterfield County’s Walton Park neighborhood. The run is an untimed event and good for all levels of fitness. You’re also encouraged to put on your best, brightest and tackiest holiday attire.

The race starts at 6:00 p.m. on N. Woolridge Rd. adjacent to Mid-Lothian Mines Park, located at 13301 N Woolridge Rd.

So far over 4,200 have registered for the event through online registration. If you haven’t registered there’s still time. There will be walk-up registration available on-site on Friday, Dec. 11 and Saturday, Dec. 12.
