RICHMOND, Va. -- Richmond Police detecEmbed Ooyala...tives want to catch a person seen stealing packages from porches.
However, police need the public’s help to identify the man in the video.
On December 2, the suspect was captured on home security video taking packages from a porch in the lower Randolph area of the city.
Suspect Sought for Theft of Packages
He is described as a black male wearing dark pants, a dark jacket and a black hat.
The video shows him leaving the area on a bike and carrying a large blue duffel bag with red stripes.
It may not be the first or last time he has taken packages.
Detectives ask anyone with any information about this person to call Third Precinct Detective Eric Sandlin at (804) 646-1010 or call Crime Stoppers at 780-1000 or text Crime Stoppers at 274637, using the key word “ITip” followed by your tip. Both Crime Stoppers methods are anonymous.
