RICHMOND, Va. — Police are looking for the thieves who stole turkeys from an East End community home in Richmond.
Officials sent out the following tweet saying crooks had stolen Thanksgiving Friday afternoon.
Investigators said the thieves broke into the upstairs window of the Fairfield Community Association sometime Friday night and made off with a dozen turkeys will all the trimmings.
On the bright side, once neighbors heard the news, they managed to replace all the stolen birds.
Police sent another tweet saying the stolen turkeys along with the fixings had been replaced thanks to generous donors.
