Richmond, Va. -- A strong cold front moved through our area Sunday morning. Colder air will continue seeping into the region through early Tuesday. Lows Monday morning will drop into the 20s north and west, but winds may stay strong enough to keep lows in the metro and points south and east in the lower 30s.
High temperatures Monday afternoon will stay in the 40s. We haven't seen a high that cold since late March. It will be quite cold Monday night into Tuesday morning with much of the area in the 20s.
The cold air will get ejected from the area during the week. Highs will be in the 50s Tuesday & Wednesday and in the 60s Thursday and Friday. Another cold front will bring colder air back later next weekend into the beginning of December.
