HENRICO COUNTY, Va. — A single-vehicle accident that occurred on I-64 westbound in Henrico County Saturday morning has sent a driver to the hospital, according to Virginia State Police.
The accident happened around 6:05 a.m. near mile marker 178 when a 2011 Freightliner street sweeper ran off the road to the right, struck a guardrail and overturned, police said. The driver was taken to VCU Medical Center with serious injuries.
Police are still investigating.
