SWAT team surrounds Chesterfield home of bank robber suspect

CHESTERFIELD, Va. – Police surrounded a home in the 4100 block of Paul Hill Road, near Nancy Drive.

The SWAT team was activated to help apprehend a bank robbery suspect, according to police on scene.

Thursday morning around 11:30 a.m., the Wells Fargo bank on Amberdale Drive at Hull Street was robbed.

Police have tracked the suspect to this home. An arrest was safely made.

Police said the suspect entered the bank, displayed a handgun and demanded money. Upon receiving the cash, the suspect fled.

Police soon located the suspect in the 4100 block of Paulhill Road.

The suspect, Justin G. Chamberlain, 28, was apprehended without incident.

Chamberlain, of the 4100 block of Paulhill Road, has been charged with robbery and use of a firearm in the commission of a felony. He is currently at the Chesterfield County Jail.
