RICHMOND, Va. — Richmond Police said they have increased patrols in the area after a Peeping Tom was reported.

A female reported that around  8:24 p.m. on Monday evening, she caught a man as he peered into her window in the 1000 block of Park Avenue.

When she spotted him, police said he ran off  in an unknown direction.

The man was described as tall and wore a dark-colored hoodie pulled over his head.

Third Precinct officers and detectives said they have stepped-up patrols in the area.

Sector Lieutenant Erlan Marshall asks that if anyone sees a suspicious person in the area they should call 911.
