RICHMOND, Va. — This is a sibling group of two, a 14 year-old boy named Justin and his eight year-old sister named Racheal. Justin and Racheal are two happy and healthy kids who enjoy all aspects of life. Racheal loves to smile, and Justin loves to encourage those around him, and engage in team activities. Justin enjoys sports, and Racheal loves to play.

Justin is a smart and witty 14-year-old boy who loves to be outside, and he states, “Having lots of land is a plus.” Justin enjoys spending time with friends, and loves to be active and busy. Justin hopes to be in an adoptive home with two parents, and hopes to be in a family where the father is actively involved in his life. Justin hopes to start playing soccer in the spring; he played football last year at school.

Racheal is a bright and witty little girl who loves everything about life. Racheal loves to make others laugh, and loves to giggle. Racheal has to work hard in school, but enjoys all her friends and teachers. Racheal enjoys playing with dolls, toys, and running around outside. Racheal loves love, and spreads love and compassion wherever she goes. Rachael is hoping for a family where she will be loved.

In Virginia, we have over 860 children who are ready for foster to adoption. In other words, these children are ready to find their permanent and loving forever families. As Connecting Hearts -The Deborah J Johnston Foundation celebrates National Adoption Month, our “30 Kids in 30 Days” initiative is to bring awareness to 30 kids who are available for forever homes, but also to shed light on the other 830 children who may not be seen. Our kids are all ages and races, they were put in foster care due to no fault of their own.
