RICHMOND, Va. – One major coffee retailer may be staying away from holiday-themed cups this year, but the national pizza supplier Pizza Hut is adorning its new Triple Treat boxes with holiday flair aplenty.
Pizza Hut introduced the Triple Treat Box this week, intended – the company said – as a way to take some of the stress out of the holidays with an option big enough to feed the whole family.
A nuclear family at least.
The Triple Treat Box includes two medium pizzas, five breadsticks and a Hershey’s Ultimate Chocolate Chip cookie for $20.
The national pizza chain said they envision it as a quick and easy meal for families and out-of-town guests.
Or, you know, people with late night cravings who want a three-course meal.
Any other time of the year, the same deal could run anywhere from around $27 to almost $40, depending on the market, tax and current specials.
